Database (beta)

The Database in Personal AI's Memories is a dynamic data pool, supporting various tasks that require structured data storage and retrieval.

Understanding the Power of Database in MindOS

The Database in MindOS serves as a foundational element for various abilities within Personal AI. It's designed to structurally store and organize a wide range of data. Let's take To-do List as an example. It structurally stores:

  • Task Data: task specifics, such as descriptions, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Status and Progress: the completion status of tasks.

  • Attachments and Links: relevant documents or files associated with different tasks.

This comprehensive data handling capability of the Database is crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Personal AI's functionalities.

Utilizing Database: Editing and Managing Data

The Database in MindOS primarily operates through automated processes, optimally managing data from various abilities like the To-do List. However, for added flexibility, manual editing is also available when necessary. Here's how you can manually interact with the Database:

  • Adding Entries: Click [+] to insert a new entry into your table.

  • Editing Data: Click [✏️] to make changes to an existing entry.

  • Removing Entries: Click [-] to delete any entry that's no longer relevant.

This dual approach ensures that while the Database helps Personal AI efficiently handles most tasks automatically, you have the ultimate control over it.
